New Orleans is the one place that most feels like home for Angelina Jolie. The actress says it represents her culturally diverse family and allows for a much more normal life than LA.

Her kids even enjoy spending time down there, especially the food!

"Our kids love it here. They love the school and their friends here. Most of all they love Verti Marte (a diner in the French Quarter). Their favorite thing to do is go down there. But for all of us, we just come here and we feel at home.

"This is the place we feel combines all the culture we love. It’s a melding of my French heritage with Brad’s Americana. The kids just love the food at the moment but they’re absorbing years of tradition through that."

Have you visited New Orleans? I went during college to check out Mardi Gras. I don't drink, so hanging out on that street wasn't really my cup of tea. So, while all my friends were partying until the wee hours of the morning, I was doing day tours with my best friend. It is such a magical place. So much history!
